Overview:
Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT) is a novel and revolutionary approach to pain management that retrains the brain to accurately interpret and respond to bodily signals, effectively breaking the cycle of chronic pain. Attendees will gain a comprehensive understanding of the theoretical foundations and scientific evidence supporting PRT. The key components of PRT intervention will be introduced. Applications of PRT to non-pain presentations will also be discussed.

About our speaker:
Dr. Emily Moore obtained her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, from McGill University. She subsequently completed the Stanford Clinical Pain Psychology Fellowship. During fellowship, she received specialized training in the treatment of a wide range of chronic pain presentations, developed a group intervention for migraine and completed the Pain Reprocessing Therapy certification course.
Dr. Moore is currently a Clinical Instructor at Stanford University School of Medicine, Department of Anesthesiology, Perioperative and Pain Medicine. She divides her time between clinical care, teaching, and research. She is passionate about helping individuals navigate pain, find fulfillment, harness motivation and flourish in their lives.
