Individual psychotherapy is not for everyone. Group skills training and group psychotherapy are effective, evidence-based, accessible and powerful means to psychological transformation. Group psychotherapy is a form of psychological treatment that involves one or more therapists working with several individuals simultaneously. This therapeutic approach is rooted in the principles of psychodynamics, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and other psychological theories. Group therapy  encourages participants to openly share their experiences and feelings which provides opportunities for learning and growth through interpersonal interactions and the support of peers who face similar issues and have different perspectives in a safe and confidential setting.
